The South of France brings together very different landscapes in a small area, all carried by the same warm, clear light. In Provence, lavender fields, olive groves and villages built from pale stone shape the landscape, while along the Côte d'Azur the next bay with turquoise water is never far away. It's exactly this mix of rural Provence and Mediterranean coast that makes the South of France one of our favourite places for a wedding.
A wedding here quickly becomes more than just a single day. Guests travel from further away, stay for several days, and the celebration turns into a small shared trip under southern sun. A long lunch in the shade of old trees, a walk through a village with colourful shutters, the first glimpse of the sea in the afternoon: all of that becomes just as much part of the story for us as the ceremony itself.
We let this light and this landscape flow into your images without letting them take over. In the end, the pictures should be of you and the people who share this day with you, not just of a beautiful backdrop.
